It's up. Then you looked. The sun, it's up.
Our eyes through the night, they almost did
not blink. I looked a lot, you looked countlessly. Did we stare for the whole
damn time? We talked but hey we looked. A lot.
Was it my tits? or my neck? To me it was
probably your hair. But I was racing for your lips. The whole damn time.
There was a world out there over the balcony, to
say the least. We knew it. But did we realize? Our reality was basic. There was
only music and sheets. Why did it feel like a whole damn galaxy in there? And there
was a goddamn world out there the whole damn time. Did we not realize it?
It was for the whole damn night. My body got
so far away from home and I was pretty sure I was selfish about it. My body,
again. It felt like it was supposed to be where it belonged. My mind? I could
not brain, much. But I knew I was right where you were looking at. The whole
damn time.
Look I'm sorry that the sun went up that day.
It's almost like it wasn't making any sense at all. But it was always meant to,
you know, for the sun to be up.
Did I say time's up?
